I see there are hobbiests that have pain staikingly gone through all the work of organizing, labeling, and repackaging these things so they are organized and super functional.
With the arcade roms, the all encompassing rom packs are illogically huge and from what I can tell most are just numbered game roms you don't really know what you have until its downloaded and installed. when you get a pack you can easily go through on a PC and remove "japan" "brazil" "france" "version 1.1" and so on. I have gone through NES, Snes Genesis etc. Retroarch (although buggy) is AMAZING at linking box art and screen shots to every old title imaginable. Some of these games I remember, but most are just fun to look at the boxart/ screen shot and try them for the first time, or that they remind me when I saw them for the first time 30 years ago.
